Right of Withdrawal For Distance and Off-Premises Contracts
Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations, you have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. However, this cancellation right does not apply in the case of any products made to your specification.
The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement eg a letter, email, a phone call or by returning the order with a clear note that this is a cancellation. You may use the model cancellation form at the foot of this document, but it is not obligatory.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication regarding your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
Effects on cancellation:
If you cancel this contract we will reimburse you without undue delay and not later than
a) 14 days after the day we receive back form you any goods supplied, or
b) (if earlier), 14 days after you day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods.
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of the 14days has expired.
You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

Our web shop generates automatic postage costs based on shipping to a UK mainland address. Please see the following paragraphs for details about exclusions. We review all outgoing post to ensure that the delivery costs are fair, and where the automatically generated amount is too high, we will process a refund after we have dispatched your items. In this way we are sure that your total order, including the postage and packing will be highly competitive.
Postage surcharge
Our P&P rates on our website are based on a mainland UK delivery address. If you live in parts of Scotland (which includes, but is not limited to, the Highlands and Islands), Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland or are an international customer, we will contact you prior to your order being dispatched to confirm your individual postage rate. WE ALWAYS GIVE YOU A FIRM QUOTE PRIOR TO DISPATCH.

We are quite happy for you to order your items online and pick your order up from our North Nottinghamshire store in person. Your order will be “packed and ready to go” in exactly the same way that it would have been if we were delivering the order to you.
If you would like to collect your order please call us on 01623 871560. Please do not travel to our store until you have received confirmation that your order is ready for collection, and finally please bring proof of identification and a copy of your order with you.

We want you to be happy with your purchase from CBA. If you have any problems please call Custom Built directly on 01623 871560 so we may assist you.
If you have a faulty product that is still within the manufacturers guarantee period then please follow the procedure below;
1. Contact us prior to sending your item back. We can then discuss your problem and suggest the best method for you to return the item back to us and issue returns number.
2. Include a copy of your receipt and/or order details, your returns number and a short letter describing the fault in as much detail as possible along with your contact details.
Please note that the Distance Selling Regulations (2000) places a duty on you to take reasonable care of the goods. You will need to arrange the return, and cover the cost of postage. However, if you are returning a faulty item, your postage will be refunded once we have received the item and checked the fault. We will refund you the value of your item within 30 days of receiving the returned item
Under the Distance Selling Regulations (2000) you have the right to cancel the contract relating to your order at any time up to the end of 14 working days after the goods are delivered. Some products are exempt, and can not be returned after processing of your order has begun. Examples include goods made to your specifications or modified from the manufacturers original specifications by your request. These include, but are not limited to, arrow shafts cut to your length, fletching of arrows, some custom made bows and custom made bowstrings.

Maintaining the security and integrity of your details is important to us and we take great care to ensure your privacy is never compromised. Our secure site employs industry-standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption for accepting credit card payments. This means that the details you enter are encrypted at the final stage of ordering, and then held in an encrypted format until they are processed by Custom Built Archery. Your details are not held in text form whilst online.

Custom Built Archery do not sell your details to any other companies or third party. We may share your contact details with courier companies for the purposes of expediting your orders, and for no other reason.

Do to the varying sizes, shapes and weight of archery equipment your shopping basket may not reflect the actual shipping costs for orders outside of a Mainland UK address. This includes certain parts of Scotland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight as well as International destinations.
If you fall into one of the above categories and would like to order from us, please contact us, via email at info@custombuilt.co.uk with the items you are planning to order and we will give you an individual shipping quotation.
For international customers, please be aware that taxes and duties may be payable in order for you to receive your parcel. We cannot publish a comprehensive list of the requirements for individual countries here, so we must leave it to individual customers to research the duties that are applicable to them locally.

All products, services and prices shown in our online shop do not constitute legally binding offers. Once you enter all of the personal contact information and click the "order now" button on the order confirmation page, the order will be considered legally binding. You will receive order confirmation immediately after the order process has been completed. The sales agreement is valid as soon as the delivery confirmation has been sent. If you do not receive order confirmation or the delivery within two (2) weeks, you are legally no longer bound to your purchase.
Deliveries

Please allow up fifteen (15) working days for delivery, most items will be dispatched within 2-3 working days after receipt of order. The email address and telephone number you supply us with on your order may be disclosed to the courier company used to deliver your goods. Your details will only be used to assist the courier company's delivery process and to provide tracking details to you where applicable. Should you wish your details to be withheld from the courier company please inform us of this in the comments box at checkout. We have the right to make partial deliveries, as long as they do not cause unreasonable hardship for the customer. When partial shipments are made, additional shipping costs will apply only when prior agreement has been reached. Delivery rates quoted are applicable to mainland UK deliveries only. International deliveries, deliveries to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, the Channel Islands or non mainland UK addresses may incur an extra charge.
Our couriers will attempt up to two (2) deliveries at the original delivery rate. If any subsequent delivers are attempted this will incur an additional delivery charge.

Damaged Items

If you receive a parcel which is damaged, please mark “Damaged” on the delivery note when signing for the parcel.
Once your parcel is signed for as “in good condition” (IE, the damage has not been noted) the contents cannot be claimed for and the loss will be at the customers expense.

You may withdraw from the sale within two (2) weeks without any justification, as long as you send your cancellation in writing (letter or e-mail) or if you return the goods to us. If you are a professional buyer or freelancer the current statutory provisions for the return of goods shall apply. The time frame for the return of goods begins once you have received the goods. Your cancellation request will be considered to have been submitted on time if your written notification or the goods are sent back within the timeframe mentioned above.
